My electric bill is surprisingly low considering a substantial home theater with three consoles. Large guitar amplifier certainly aren't cheap on the electricity either. Last month was $34 and my worst ever was in $42.

I'm still in the process of archiving my CD collection in .flac for use with my Squeezebox Duet. From where I am now it will probably be in the 201 to 250 gig range. That's all just from CDs.

I think it's a bad move on their part not to have an external Blue-Ray drive. Since the PS3 is the best and most cost effective player, Microsoft is essentially making me buy a PS3. I would not buy one if they offered me another option. I would honestly rather not buy one but I do want HD material for purchase or rental. Nothing downloaded or streamed can touch the quality.

Sure it is an opinion piece but it is unfairly generalizing. I do know some of the types she writes about but I see them as being the minority. Who knows - maybe I'm just in the wrong for buying both a house and Halo 3 in the same year.

Sorry to hear about the Omega troubles. They are by far my favorite watch company. Seeing how it's the store's fault hopefully they will help you out. I believe Omega will re-authenticate it but I'm sure you'd have to send it away and for a price.

I hope you get everything straightened out and enjoy your Seamaster (just guessing here but I don't know of any other current mens quartz by them). My Speedmaster Date is one of my prized possessions.

I've been using Blockbuster Online to get my HD-DVDs for a long time now. Then I use my two rental coupons in-store for games. It's been working great. I would prefer if they carried HD-DVD in every store but since I can get them online I don't care too much.

I'll admit to being both a car nut and a watch nut. I'm usually not a fan of Casio anything but that's pretty sharp looking. It still can't top an Omega Speedmaster in my opinion though!
